"Housecleaning Revisited"
Prior to my San Diego trip last year, I finally got around to part of my comic-book housecleaning and put a lot of comics up on eBay. The end result was that my San Diego trip was one of the most affordable I've taken, and I sincerely appreciate everyone who helped out, and hope that everyone enjoyed the comics that they got. The deals seemed pretty good on both ends, at least from where I was sitting. The goal of the last eBay auction-a-thon was twofold: Earn spending money for San Diego and clean out some of the comics that were either duplicates of trades or just books I didn't think I'd ever reread again. Well, it's that time again, and this time I'm also getting ready to move house, so I've got an even bigger impetus to get these comics out of the house so I don't have to move them.
This will probably be the last time I sell comics on eBay for a while. Everything that's left in my collection after these 16 lots are gone is stuff I really want to hold onto. Maybe next year I'll sell off some more of the stuff that I've duplicated in trades. Thanks again to everyone who has bid so far, it's helped a lot with my finances and made my trip to San Diego (and maybe Stumptown and a couple other cons) possible. The auctions are all over now, thanks to everyone who bid!
